From empty shell to Movita Juice Bar.
INVICTA took a bare commercial space in Long Beach and delivered a complete build-out for Movita Juice Bar. We trenched the slab for new drains, ran new water lines, framed the walls, ceilings and curved counters, and finished everything to city code and Movita’s franchise standard.

How we built it
Eight phases from shell to opening.
A franchise build-out has to satisfy three reviewers at once: the city, the health department and the brand. Here’s how the Movita job came together.

Demo & clean-out
The shell was cleared and prepped so new systems could go in where the franchise layout needed them.
- 02
Slab trenching
Saw-cut and trenched the concrete slab to run new underground drain lines to the bar, prep and sink locations.
- 03
New drains & water lines
New waste, vent and water lines roughed in for the juice bar equipment, hand sinks, prep sinks and restroom.
- 04
Metal stud framing
Light-gauge steel framing for walls, the back-of-house and the restroom, laid out to the approved plans.
- 05
Curved ceiling soffits
Framed the signature curved soffit and ceiling features with HVAC ducting coordinated above.

Custom curved counters
Built the curved service counter frames on site to match the brand’s design.

Smooth, cleanable finishes
Walls finished smooth and cleanable for health department approval and the brand’s look.

Equipment & casework
Counters, casework and refrigeration set and connected, ready for inspection.
Built to franchise standard
Details the brand signs off on.
Franchise stores are judged against the brand’s design package. We built the curved counters with purple banding, the logo and green feature walls, the soffits and the lighting layout to match Movita’s look, while keeping every surface smooth and cleanable for the health inspector.
