Commercial Portfolio · Fire rebuild
A burned-out warehouse, built back.
A fire tore through this bow-truss warehouse in the City of Los Angeles and took the roof with it. INVICTA cleared the debris, re-framed the arched roof, put on a new roof deck, blasted the brick clean and started the new interior — turning a total loss back into a usable building.

Before & after
Same building. Back from a total loss.
Drag the slider. On the left is the warehouse after the fire: roof burned open, walls charred and debris everywhere. On the right is the same building with a new roof, skylights and new interior walls.

How we built it
Eight phases from fire damage to rebuild.
A fire rebuild starts with what’s left standing. Here’s how this warehouse came back.
- 01

Fire damage & assessment
We walked the burned-out building, documented the damage and sorted what could be saved from what had to come out.
- 02

Demo & debris haul-out
Telehandlers, skid steers and lifts cleared the burned roof, walls and debris down to the structure that stays.
- 03

Cleared to the trusses
With the debris out, the arched bow-truss frame and brick walls were exposed so the rebuild could start clean.
- 04

Bow-truss roof re-framed
Damaged roof framing replaced with new lumber across the arched trusses, rebuilding the warehouse’s signature curved roof.
- 05

New roof deck
The re-framed roof sheathed with new plywood decking, closing the building back in.
- 06

Exterior brick blasted clean
Crews on lifts blasted the exterior brick, and openings were boarded and secured.
- 07

Slab trenching
The floor slab trenched along the walls for the new work below grade.
- 08

New walls & skylights
New interior walls framed and boarded under the rebuilt roof, with new skylights bringing daylight back in.

Arched bow-truss roof
Saving the roof that makes the building.
Bow-truss warehouses are known for their curved wood roofs. Instead of flattening the building, we kept the arched trusses, replaced the damaged framing and put a new deck on top — so the warehouse keeps its character and its open, column-free floor.
