Is there a free ADU plan in Los Angeles?

Yes. The City of LA offers YOU-ADU, a free 455 sf one-bedroom standard plan. Unincorporated LA County also offers free pre-approved plans. Both still need site-specific review.

Do pre-approved plans skip plan check?

No. They shorten review, but LADBS or the County still checks how the plan fits your lot, including zoning and foundation.

Do you build commercial projects in LA too?
